Yangtze Rep is thrilled to welcome back longtime collaborator Marcus Yi for our next commissioned project. An award-winning theatre writer, composer, and director, Marcus has been an integral part of Yangtze’s journey, from our 2015 reading of Frank to his 2020 micro-commission Marcus Yi: Taylor Swift Won’t Eat Fish Head, which resonated with audiences worldwide. With a dynamic portfolio spanning The Kennedy Center, Queens Council on the Arts, and American Lyric Theater, Marcus brings his signature blend of humor, heart, and cultural depth to this new work.
